Day 279- Why do we choose to create bad experiences???

images Ever had the experience where you need to do something for the day and you don’t feel like doing it, but when the time comes to do it and your busy with it you find it’s not actually that bad? So why then did you think it’s going to be crappy and why did you not want to do it to begin with?

For example when I was in school and the teacher gave me homework. Throughout the day I would be like totally not looking forward to doing the homework. The more I would think about just how unpleasant it would be the more I would not want to do it and the more I postpone. Some days I would even simply not do it, and the next day I would cram it in quickly before class starts. Other days when I finally push through the resistance and just get to it I found it was actually not that bad. It was not as unpleasant as I thought it would be. So what made me think that it would be bad?

The problem comes with the thinking part. When you have something do to for the day we often start thinking about how it would be doing it – this is mostly based on past experiences. We think about times we did a similar thing before and where it was unpleasant or the bad experiences we had with particular task. For example homework – I would think about all the times I had to sit and struggle with homework and how time consuming it was and how it kept me from things I liked – I would take all of that and project it onto the homework that I need to do later that day.

Also thinking about it we already create the disdain and resistance towards the task ahead by linking it to past experiences. We already create the experience before we even get to the task. So looking at it it’s not the task that makes you not want to do it – you created the “bad” experience even before you started.

This is actually a very unnecessary experience, because we cannot know exactly what we will experience when doing the task that lies ahead of us. It will always be based on past events and assumptions formed from beliefs and ideas, but the fact remains – I will not know unless I actually do it.

Next time when there is something that you need to do, but don’t want to or feel like doing know this – by thinking about how bad it will be you actually create more resistance towards the task and create the bad experience you will have. This can be applied to anything you do. In the end the best thing to do is to stop the thoughts about how crappy it will be – stop creating the experience. Stop the thoughts and when the time comes to do this task simply do it. Stay out of your head be here and get it done and move on. Wouldn’t live be much simpler when we realize that we create how we experience ourselves…

Day 250: The Creator...

Here I will start looking at what meaning the word creator has within me and my experience with this word throughout my life and how I have defined myself according to this word and thus lived my life according to this.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to see the word creator as a powerful being or life force that directs and controls and created everything in the universe and thus believe that I have no power or responsibility.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to see creator as something that is superior/more than me

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to see creator as something I can never be based on beliefs and ideas I accepted and allowed from religion.

I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to investigate and see for myself what is possible and not instead of accepting what is believed on face value.

I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to take self-responsibility for myself and my actions/deeds/thoughts and instead make something outside myself responsible like a creator/god or lifeforce.

I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that I am the one living this life – that I am the one who feels, creates emotions, have thoughts/backchats and live through choices made and not some other higher being or entity that directs everything, thus when shit hits the fan I cannot blame anything else but myself, because I am the one responsible for me.

I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to see myself as a creator of my life – that It has been me all along that chose to be who I am today and not some higher being/entity/god/lifeforce, and how I refused to accept this fact because it would mean I have to take responsibility for myself and stop blaming and holding something outside myself accountable.

index I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that by believing myself to not be responsible for my life I will not do anything to change it

I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that If I am the one who has been directing my life up to now and I am not satisfied in the direction it is going then I am the one who needs to change.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to want to place responsibility outside myself by creating the belief and idea that there is something else directing life that is bigger than me, because then I don’t have to take self-responsibility and when things go wrong I can blame someone else.

I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that to believe there is a greater force directing life then I believe everything is the way it is supposed to be and thus I would do nothing to change the way of the world and everything would stay the same

I commit myself to stop the belief and idea that there is a great powerful being/entity/force that directs and controls everything in the universe and my life that is vastly superior to me – instead I realize that I am the creator of my life and thus I am the one directing my life and chose to be who I am today based on what I have accepted and allowed

I commit myself to investigate and push through my perceived limitations to see what is in fact practically possible in this world and in my life. There is no way for me to know unless I give it my all to the best of my ability

I commit myself to stop blaming something outside myself for the events that happens to me – instead I realize that nothing happens to me, but that I am the one creating everything that goes on within my life and thus there is nobody to blame. Within this I commit myself to become self-responsible and direct my life to sort it out, because I am responsible for it.

I commit myself to realize that I run away from self-responsibility and justify it with the excuse that there is a god/being/entity/force out there with a plan directing everything thus everything is the way it is supposed to be and I must not and cannot change it – Instead I commit myself to stop this excuse and justification and stand up to change myself and this world by doing everything I am able to

Journey to Life day 42 - I am the Creator of the World and so are you

for perspective: http://creationsjourneytolife.blogspot.com/2012/07/day-85-and-god-created-slaves.html

Who created this world the way it is today? Most people would say god did. And if you question this world the response is the same - its gods plan. So because its gods plan all the suffering and abuse that exist today is acceptable and ok - its gods plan 3D-graphics_The_universe_in_the_creator_hands_016116_after all. And in that believe then do nothing to make this world a better place - because who dares question gods plan?

We created this world the way it is today - we did. And so WE can change it.

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to give away my choice to a belief in a being who would choose for me - and in this give away my power and become powerless and a slave -  not realizing that what I did is give up my responsibility to making this world a better place

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself  to use religion as an abdication of my responsibility to life and to instead use it as an excuse to justify my actions

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to accept god as the creator and in this accept his creation - because if i accept god as the creator then i accept all he created

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to then blame god for the state of the world and all the bad things that happens in life

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to use religion as an excuse to not do something about this world and say that it is gods plan and thus i cant question or change it.

I forgive myself for not realizing that I am the one who created this world the way it is and that i am still creating it daily through the choices I live - by accepting the world the way it is and never question life or find ways to change it

I forgive myself that i have not accepted and allowed myself to make the choice to stand as life - to instead of accepting this world the way it is to dedicate my life to make sure all abuse and suffering ends

I forgive myself that i have not accepted and allowed myself realize my responsibility to life -  I created this world the way it so i have to be the be to clean it up and that i have the power to change the world as we all do but i gave my power and my choice away

I forgive myself that i have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that i as the creator of this world as it exist today - then have the power to then create a world that would be for what is best for and not for what is best for the few and the world expense

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to fear this power i have and to in that fear give it away because it is easier to give it somebody else like god - then I do not have to do anything but can be directed by someone else

I commit myself to live the choice to stand as life

I commit myself to see that we created this world as it is today by the choices we have lived

I commit myself to never again give my choice to someone else - but to live my choice in totality

I commit myself to take self responsibility by taking back the power of creation and to use it to clean up the mess as evil that have created in this world

I commit myself to create a world that is free from abuse and suffering as it exist today and to never give up on myself and life and to always push through no matter what

I commit myself to never again abdicate self responsibility and to never again give my power away but to always and in always use my power so that breath by breath i create that what is best for all beings - a life worth living in free from strife

I commit myself to stand as the example and to show others how their choice created this world and to show them how to give back the power they gave away and to together stand as one to create a new world

I commit myself to not give up on life - because if i am the creator and if i have the power to change this world and end all suffering then to give that up would be a crime against life.

This is my choice - to live it to completion because i have the power to change this world and so do you. It is up to all of us to realize this power and for all to live this choice together. That how we change this world and create a world what is best for all.

What do you choose...
