Corruption: Sure we are pissed, But we Still allow it to happen

It happens everywhere and we all know it. But why is this still a thing? When you have large amounts of money and Power mixed with human nature what do we get? Corruption. It makes us angry seeing our taxes pocketed by politicians but what can we actually do to stop this?
