The Sims 4: Best way to make lots of money Fast

tree

Cow plant is fun - and dangerous...

One of the first things you will notice while playing  Sims 4  is that making money is more difficult than it was in the Sims 3. But I have found a method where my Sims don't have to work, don't have to paint, don't have to license songs or books . They both just live on interest earned.

Below I will show you how to make over 60 000 simoleons per week by doing nothing (no cheats).

Currently My Sims - the mother and father - are making over 70 000 a week. They do not have jobs - I quit them. This is done by taking advantage of the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration where your Sims gets money every week based on your household funds.

STEP 1 - Making a fortune with Gardening:

tree

Here is what a spliced Tomato and UFO plant looks like - the real money maker

Before you start selling your harvest make sure you select the Fabulously Wealthy Aspiration, because this will help you complete it.

The first thing we need to do is accumulate money - the more money you have the more you will make every week. The best and fastest method is by doing gardening(yup). Get a few grape trees growing and tend to them once a day - get them to prefect grape trees , because that increases the value for the fruit. You will want to get your Sim to max out the gardening skill - this will make things easier, but you need the grafting ability which unlocks at level 7.

Perfect Grapes sell for 33 each. Each tree gives maximum 10 grapes. Its takes about 2 to 3 days for the grapes to be ready for harvesting so you are looking at making over 30 000 a week if you have 40 grape trees. It takes time to tend to so many so I recommend your Sim quit his/her job. Another advantage to having so many is that it will improve the skill faster.

The real money maker  is the U.F.O plant. It sells for 120 each. The only problem is that it takes a long time before you can harvest it. A way around this is to splice a UFO cutting onto a tomato tree - the tomato tree can be harvested daily. By splicing the two you will be able to harvest the trees almost daily. When you have about 20 of these perfect tomato/UFO trees you are looking at making over 20 000 PER DAY selling the harvest. You will want to keep doing this until you have about 500 000 household funds. The more money you have the more you will make every week.

STEP 2 - Sit back and do whatever

Interest earned Sims 4

Above you can see ( print is small, sorry) my guy earned 38 000 this week.

Once your Sim has completed the Fabulously Wealthy Aspiration get your second Sim ( husband or wife or whoever living with you) to Complete the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration as well . What you can do is let this Sim harvest and sell the fruit to be able to complete the aspiration. Once you are satisfied with the amount you are making every week from investments go to build mode and place all the trees in your inventory - this will store the trees if you want to use them again in the future. When you have about 800 000 total your Sims combined will be making 76 000  per week - by doing nothing - leaving you time to do other things.

Day 239 Making a Decision that needs to be made Immediately

choice I have always been horrible with decision making, from the smallest things like deciding what to eat to the big things in life. Over the years I have become better at the small things, but the big things still need direction.

Winter time on the farm means fire season. When there is a fire in the area people get called and those who are able to go help to put the fire out. In these situations time is very important so you need to really hurry and make sure you get to that fire as fast as possible, because the fire might burn down houses or trap and burn animals so the sooner you get to it the better. One night I got the call that a property was burning and they need help to put the fire out, unfortunately property was far away so this required a different approach.

Usually the fires were close so we jump on our tractor with the water cart attached and put out the fire. Eventually what we did was some guys went ahead with a car to get to the fire while another person drove the tractor. That way some people can already beat the fire while we wait fire the tractor.

Before I came to that decision on how to approach this point I hesitated, because It was a new situation I did not have previous experience on how to deal with point so I stressed out a bit trying to decide what I should do. And there is the mistake – allowing myself to panic and stress, because in that state I was not able to make any effective decisions or direct the situation effectively. So what will be the best way to face a tough time constraint decision?

The best thing you can do is to stop and breathe. Do not allow the stress and anxiety to direct you, simply stop and breathe. Also slow down, I found I was looking at everything at the same time instead of looking at it one point at a time. This will give you a “clear head” so that you can effectively look at the situation and direct it. Keep things practical – in these situations the answer is here. You may not know exactly what is going to happen, but what you can do is direct the moment the best way you are able to.

IF you require assistance with the big choices that do not need action immediately here is a cool self help guide how to best make a choice:

“We tend to get a little flustered and stressed out when we're faced with a big choice. There are usually a myriad of things to consider and usually all sorts of people trying to push you this way or that. All in all, it can be a pretty unpleasant experience when we don't know how to effectively dealing with the shit that seems to be flying at us from all directions.
So how the hell do you make a decision, especially when there seems to be so much stuff overwhelming you? First step:”

Missing Life skills: Why do I have a fear of Insects?

images I heard an interesting discussion on the radio today. The guy who talking is a Nature lover, but the problem he has is that he is absolutely terrified of spiders. He said that every time he sees a spider he actually freezes with fear and starts sweating.

He said that what he did to find the reason for this fear is go back to his childhood. When he was a kid he was playing around the lounge and fell asleep under a chair. He then had a nightmare of a spider coming down from the chair and sitting on his face. In the dream when this happened he went to fear and started sweating and since that day he was afraid of spiders.

This is the reason with most people. You will find that there is a memory from childhood where something happened with some sort of insect that was when the fear began. Allot of people don’t even know this and it could be a suppressed memory.

When I grew up I had a fear of moths. I knew it was a bit weird, but I had a big fear of moths. I could not be in the same room as a moth. I traced the fear back to a memory from childhood. I was in bed about to go to sleep and the room was dark, but I saw what looked like a massive moth flying around in my room. It only happened for a second – like seeing a shooting star – what seemed like a giant moth flying over the bed above my face. I totally freaked out and called my parents…well, more like screamed for them. They came in the room and turned on the light with worried and confused expressions asking me what. I told them what I saw, but I looked around the room and saw there was no giant moth.

I was so certain there was a giant moth, but clearly there wasn’t. Still, since that day I was very afraid of moths. I find this interesting, how a simple event in your early life no matter how small can affect your whole life. And the reason why it effected my life is because when the event happened I did not direct the situation, I was young and did not understand how these things work or how to direct myself.

So this is an example of how an event and how you react to that event can affect your life. This is why it is so important to learn how to become self-directed, so that when these events occur you can make sure it has no effect on who you are, right now we are not taught how to do these things and its an important life skill to have. Day 223: Doing something to the best of your ability

self-improvement I'm going to share another perspective on the point of living your full potential. In a blog, which you can read here, I wrote a more general point on realizing and living your utmost potential. Today I am going to give some examples of practical application and how I applied this in my life.

Living your utmost potential is like doing something to the best of your ability. I have said this many times in blogs - that I was always a person who took the easy route in terms of work, did the least amount of effort required to complete a task. Since walking this process that all changed.

The first opportunity I had to change this about myself was working with my hands. What is cool about "getting down to earth" and getting your hands dirty with good old physical work is that when you are done with it you can actually see what you did. For example: The first time I worked with bricks, we had a bath put in by plumbers so we needed to brick it up and I decided ill give it a go. I remember it took me the whole day to do this, mostly because it was a new thing so as I built it layer by layer and a got to my 4th layer I noticed that the 3rd layer was out of line. So i could have left it as it was, but that 3rd layer would not be in line with the rest of the mini wall and the thing about a wall is that it would be there for many many years - every time I look at it I would see it was not built properly, in the end I dismantled the 4th and 3rd layer started again.

Working with bricks and cement and concrete - when you are done it is a permanent thing so I wanted to make sure that every time a look at the finished product I want to to be able to say that I did my best. And always the next time I worked on a similar task like throwing and leveling a concrete floor I looked for ways to improve and make it better than the last one I did.

It was a cool experience and opportunity for me to improve myself by always doing something to the best of my ability - my utmost potential. And I did this with many tasks ranging from roofing to fencing to tree planting - finding ways to it better and improve my skills.

The Integrity of Gaming - Best Game Review

I was born in the computer age – before windows was here to make things simpler. Our first computer was running DOS. I was very young when I first played computer games and these games were running on DOS so it was very simplistic fun games of which the games I cannot remember. I played more “television games” with a console box and the time spent there was not allot. See, I was still in an age where we actually “went outside to go and play”. Our play time was almost always outside – whereas now kids spend most of their time inside with TV and Computer games.

Unfortunately nowadays it is simply not safe anymore for a bunch of kids to play on the streets – and with technology and smartphones physical social interaction is becoming a thing of the past.
Back to my topic – the Integrity of Gaming. I was not a heavy gamer in terms of computers and consoles. In school I basically played 2 games all the time which was Heroes of Might and Magic 4 and Red Alert 2. The only reason why I only played these games was because it was the only games on my computer and I liked playing them. I did not have the need to find other games to play – that did not even occur to me and the fact that there might even be a Heroes of Might and Magic 5 did not occur to me at all. I was not a heavy or even a casual gamer. What I liked about these games was that I create a Massive map and it would take weeks to finish. I was introduced to the gaming scene only after I finished school and a new world of fun and games awaited me.

Now seriously, Back to my topic: The Integrity of gaming.  The Best game I have ever played in my life is…The one and only…totally amazing… The Mass Effect Series. Bioware really did a great job with this game. It is a total of 3 games. Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2 and Mass effect 3.  All of them are great games and if you do want to try it out you have to start with Mass effect 1. This game is Good for many reasons and one of them are that your choices has an effect throughout the series. The choices you make in number 1 will affect the game in number 3. And seemingly small choices and decisions you make can have great consequences throughout your adventure.

Another reason the game is the best is the amount of work that went into it. You can really see it – the dialogue and voice actors is excellent. The Storyline and the way the game progress and tells the story is done very well. I played the Mass Effect series  a few times over, because it is that good and there aren’t many other games that are this good.  Another good game they made was Dragon age, not as good as Mass Effect, but good. They unfortunately messed up with Dragon 2 which is not as good as Dragon age 1.

I played other games that were good as well like The Witcher 2, Command and Conquer 3, Anno 1404, Anno 2070, Skyrim, Warcraft 3, Rage, The settlers, Dawn of War(not number2), Assassins creed 1,2 and 3, Portal 1 and 2. Just to name a few. They are all great games to play, But the way Mass effect plays and how it was made is excellent. They did the best they could and then did even better.

The game has integrity – some games that come out now are not very well done. You play it and tell yourself that they could have done such a better job with it. You have those game developers that make one good game – and then the second game of that series is crap. Almost like they are cashing in on the name of the first game.  Not Cool. Some strive to do even better and get it right.
I have read that Bioware is busy developing a new Mass Effect series and I will patiently await its arrival.

For those who would like to know – The Witcher 3 and Dragon Age 3 are also in development and is estimated to be out early 2014. I will be playing those game So that is it – A very well done game deserves to be written about.
s if my computer can handle it.

Day 183 - I am getting Older: Fear and Anxiety

3021922-pg_41e_-__man_-_showing_progressive_aging I am turning 26 this year. There was a bit of anxiety within me when I looked at this – that I am getting older. Soon I will reach 30 and eventually 50. I am getting older. Time is going by seemingly faster – we are already more than halfway through 2013. The fear that came up was not that I will eventually die one day, but that time is going by. In just two years It would already be a decade since I graduated from school. A whole 10 years would have passed and it felt so short. In another decade I will say the same thing.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to go into fear when I saw that I am turning 26 this year.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to create anxiety within myself that Time is running out and that one day I will no time left when I do die.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to fear that time will go by too fast for me and that I would not have enough time to do all the things I want.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to fear that I will regret the way I lived and feel that I have wasted it.

I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that if I use my time effectively and do all that I am able to with the time I have then there can be no regret.

I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that even though time is going by – there is absolutely nothing I can do to slow it down or stop it.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to fear that one day when I am old I would be too old to do the things I am able to do now and thus believe that I should rush and get things done quickly while I have the time. Within this I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that IF I rush through life I will miss out anyway.

I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to instead of rushing and wanting to get things done fast while I can – to instead to the best I am able to within the things I do now and only when I see that I have done all I can and still did not get to everything then I can say I did all I can and there is no point to worry about it.

I commit myself to stop linking fear with my age and growing old – instead I live in the moment

I commit myself to stop creating anxiety about the fact that time is going by and not to see it as time running out – instead I do the best I am able to with the time I have.

I commit myself to stop the fear That I will one day not be able to do the things I do now and then rush through things to get it done – instead I slow down and make sure I do things effectively with the time that I have

I commit myself to stop the fear that I will regret how I used my time – instead I realize that there can be no regret when I did in fact do all that I could to the best of my ability.

Day 102 - There's never enough Time

Worrying about Time. Living my life around Time. Time dictates what i do and who i am.

I have found more points regarding being anxious all the time - Timeindex

I am constantly worrying about Time - never having enough of it. I worry about the future and what might happen . I worry about the time that has already passed and i cannot have it back. I worry so much about time that  I never here in the moment, but always in the future or the past.

It is a known fact that stress causes physical harm to the body - it affects the body although its only a feeling. The same goes with sadness, anger rage and other emotions. Anxiety also affects the body - it gets the heart racing among other things. For me it came with me not being able to have a decent crap anymore.

the past 5 months I have daily been constipated, diarrhea, abdominal pain, bloated and very gassy. I never thought you can be constipated and have diarrhea in the same day but there you go.

The symptoms are exactly those of having IBS - irritable bowl syndrome. Here is  extracts from this site:

IBS, this disorder is characterized by abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, gas, constipation, and diarrhea

Approximately one in five adults in the United States has IBS

There is no known specific cause

research has found that 50 to 90 percent have a psychiatric disorder such as an anxiety disorder

There is also no cure for IBS - only ways to relieve the symptoms

For me I am absolutely certain that anxiety and fear is what is causing my symptoms - so it will make sense to get rid of the anxiety so will the symptoms - we will see. On many sites some ways of treating IBS symptoms is medication to lessen the anxiety - this is suppressing it, not getting rid of it.

The first question is who created the anxiety within me? I did. Sure something outside myself triggers it - but I am creating the feeling - I am allowing an event to make me feel anxious. Most people believe they do not have a choice in how they experience themselves, but the truth is you choose to experience yourself a certain way. Its a Choice made. Change the choice, Change the experience.

Time - I have realized that I only have two hands and 24 hours a day do to things. There in no way for me to get more time. I actually have less time, because I am wasting it on worrying. So there is no point in worrying. its a waste of time.

More on this tomorrow.
