Day 241 Nicky Minaj "Anaconda" - We all know it's a Penis...

 

 

Driving one morning early I took in my surroundings – Trees starting to bloom, green grass growing and the morning sun shining through some clouds on the horizon. It’s about time for the morning news on the radio so I turned it on and what I heard was:

“My anaconda don't, my anaconda don't
My anaconda don't want none unless you got buns, hun”…

I don’t keep track of what songs are popular these days, mostly because it can’t be classified as music really, but unfortunately I had the displeasure of hearing this whilst driving and waiting for the morning news.

For those who don’t know – the “song” is Nicki Minaj –Anaconda. This particular release has peaked at No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100, consequently becoming Minaj's highest charting single in the United States to date. To be clear here – That chorus is actually saying “my penis will not come near you unless you have a big butt”. That has reached no 2, as in the second most popular song when it came out. The music video basically focuses on Nicki’s butt as she shakes it and is filmed in every angle possible – this has reached over 100million views in 11 days.

What can you tell about a generation when you look at the most popular songs of today? My question is how a song like this can be played on radio? Why do we allow music with these lyrics to be played while children are listening? It is basically porn. The song is selling sex, its all about the profit. Sure he does not actually say “PENIS”, but we all know exactly what the song is about. This is starting to get out of hand, they taking it too far. The line has been crossed. Is not time we put a stop to all this? Time we realize how music influences a generation? Where is our dignity? Should we not consider what responsibilities lies with pop stars?

It would be far more beneficial if pop stars start singing about real things – things that can support those who listen to it – or at least not be about sex. Unfortunately that would decrease profits drastically. Seriously, if we do not change this it’s simply going to get crazier. Very soon pop starts won’t bother with euphuisms anymore and actually sing about having sex literally and it will be on radio for all hear and be the new hit single. I do not want to live in a world like that.

So to all the “stars” making “music” – Please stop. And to the children who listen to this – please stop. It’s time we find our dignity and stop allowing ourselves to be influenced for profit. Take charge in your life and do not be manipulated and told what you should like and should buy. Make your own choices. Make your Life REAL.

Music Today cannot be Called Music - Its All about SEX/Money

 

When I was in school I liked the songs that played on the radio. The station played the current popular songs. My parents would be in the car and say that the music is shit - really bad music and could not understand why we liked the music. Now - many years later - I tune in the same radio station and the music is shit - it is really bad and I cannot understand why people like listening to this crap.

This is a pattern that repeats every generation. The music I listened to and liked was mostly influenced by the Media and friends at school. This was in the late 90's and onwards. Back then music was really not as bad as it is today, but definitely worse than music that came before. In comparison to true musicians and artists like Mozart and Queen most if not all music on the radio today cannot be called music anymore. If you tune in to a popular radio station almost all the songs are about sex. Here are some songs that recently played repeatedly on the radio:

Songs about taking off all your clothes while dancing at a party. Now the target group - the people who become religious fans - are young teenagers. They are the ones being influenced by this noise/music. I was definitely influence by music of my day - at least the music and lyrics was not about sex. Sex was not used or needed to promote and advertise music. Today you have ridiculous dumbed down lyrics cleverly placed over catchy tunes with female vocalist wearing hardly anything in the music Video - no effort went into the music to make a song. Instead all effort is placed on getting the songs sold to make money.

That is really the only way to make money in the music industry today. Quick, sexual with no vocal talent and spending millions just to advertise the song and make people like it - all for money. Pop artists are like the porn stars of the music industry. The question is what effect this abuse has on children who listen to this? Those artist become role models to these children and the role models represent sex. Something needs to done. Artists have a responsibility towards the fans, but none take responsibility for the music they write - its all about the money.

Why Sex Sells–Why We Just Cant Get Enough.

 

Sex. We live for it. Will do almost everything for it. We are automatically drawn to it. It is used everywhere in advertising to catch our attention to buy stuff. And it is accepted as OK to exploit us.

We are programmed to be directed by desire and will follow this pursuit for love. Love and sex go hand in hand. When you see a woman that you like what attracted to first was the looks and thus the possible sex you can have with this woman. Be selfhonest.

Nothing to do with personality – We have supressed ourselves with the idea of ‘’being civil’’, but underneath it all lurks the horny fuck constantly looking for the next best elevation of ecstasy.

And the advertising companies know allot more than the general public do about human nature and how to exploit it. It has been working for a very very long time. Which places the individual in a bit of a dilemma – how can you stop being exploited by others? Stop being controlled and brainwashed? Just how does one get unaffected by any kind of manipulation and exploitation?
